The Market Collective opens on Luray’s Main Street

Town of Luray
“The Luray Downtown Initiative has created a new retail space for local entrepreneurs to showcase their talents on Main Street. In conjunction with the Luray Farmers Market closing for the season, the new Market Collective opened on Oct. 4 offering fresh produce and organic meats alongside locally made arts and crafts.

Liz Lewis, director of the LDI for the past three years, is very enthusiastic about the joint venture that unites and houses more than a dozen community crafts people under one roof at 18 East Main. The unique model that Lewis has in mind serves as an incubator for local entrepreneurs seeking a venue without the overhead of a stand-alone storefront.”
