“The new year is expected to bring big changes - and some very large
building projects - to the Tri-Cities in 2014. Changes in business could bring
millions to the area.
Rolls Royce will open a new manufacturing facility at its manufacturing
campus, Crosspointe Centre, in Prince George County. The aerospace company has
budgeted $136 million for the advanced airfoil machining facility, which will
create 140 jobs. It will be the third installment at the campus.
The airfoil facility will be responsible for producing smaller engine
parts - like turbine blades and nozzle guide vanes - in large quantities….”
