Loudoun Supervisors Complete Deal For Telos Expansion

Loudon County:
“Weeks after the announcement that Ashburn-based Telos Corporation had chosen to stay in Loudoun County and expand its business, the Board of Supervisors Wednesday approved the local match to the state incentive—one that requires no cash from Loudoun County. In the deal, Loudoun County will match the $500,000 grant from the Governor’s Opportunity Fund to support the Telos expansion with a $500,000 public infrastructure improvement grant for the construction of Russell Branch Parkway between Ashburn Road and Ashburn Village Boulevard—a project the county has already funded. In September, the board approved a proffer amendment by nearby landowner B.F. Saul for the 555-foot road segment through its property. The missing link is being funded through the proffer and gas tax revenue.”
