Pamplin Council Formally Approves Land Deal that Could Result in Trail Extending to Main Street

Town of Pamplin
“After a binding vote on Thursday, land that runs through downtown Pamplin may soon bring about change that will inject life into the town. The property is one mile of land that Norfolk Southern Railway Corporation plans to donate so that a recreational trail could extend to the Pamplin Depot, and allow trail users to come into town.

During last Thursday’s council meeting, town council agreed on a 4-0 vote to pass a resolution in support of the railroad company’s donation of land for the trail to the town as part of High Bridge Trail State Park.”
